How to keep skin healthy

So, you’re here to find out the secrets to healthy, glowing , nurtured skin that lasts all year long. No giving up wearing make-up to go au natural forever, bid farewell to your fav McDonald’s delivery driver or pray to the skin gods.
Well, the good news is that the measures don’t need to be that drastic but keeping your skin healthy does require a lot of consistency; if you’re ready to take your skin to the next level, take the skin type quiz so that we know what your skin goals are and let the Skinora Doctors change YOUR regime for good!
Hydration
Whilst water keeps all living things alive and so your body and skin need it for the regeneration process; drinking enough water is imperative for overall health and skin that looks and feels fantastic. Moisturise yours from within and help it keep its elasticity and collagen hydrated by replenishing your body with this essential. After all, we are all roughly 60% water !
Sunscreen
Our Skinora Doctors will always remind you of the importance of sunscreen; the amount of protection this gem offers is vital for overall skin health, protection and a glowy appearance. My favourite one has to be the Skinceuticals Advanced brightening UV defense sunscreen to target dark spots, it also has niacinamide to help even and balance skin.
Vitamin C
On the way to achieving healthy skin, vitamin C is an essential for sure ; it plays a huge role in skin health and it’s a key ingredient that should be looked out for when buying any kind of skin product. This essential is responsible for skin brightening, minimizing age spots, skin firmness, protecting your skin from rays and many more wonderful things ! Check out our antioxidant serums to find out which one will work better for YOUR skin type !
Cleansing routine
Last but definitely NOT least we have morning and night cleansing ; this needs to be consistent no matter how tired you are ( let those pores breathe). Skinora’s Doctor Anna says that morning cleansing is very important because the skin at night undergoes a renewal process and the byproduct is dead skin cells. These, along with any other impurities left on the face overnight, need to be removed in the morning. Night cleansing is important in order to remove dust and dirt that has been collected during the day, as well to remove make-up and any sunscreen.
